Welcome

Nature has blessed us with over 40 islands, cays and islets to intrigue you, along with balmy trade winds, safe and manageable seas and beautiful beaches. Visitors come here to enjoy sailing our calm waters cooled by the easterly trade winds and anchor in protected coves and bays. Other popular activities are snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kite flying, bone fishing or simply to relax and float on our turquoise seas. On land there are hiking trails through rain forests and national parks, challenging bike rides over our mountains, visit the rum distillery, our historic sites or shop for Caribbean treasures. Hire a car and see the BVI from a different viewpoint. Take a look at the Painted Wall on the Ridge Road, depicting scenes from a bygone era, visit the Botanic Gardens to enjoy their peace and harmony or check out one of our five museums.

The BVI marine industry has thrived, providing a full range of services to accommodate the many yachts based here and those cruising through. The BVI Marine Guide is a showcase for our extensive marine services as well as the many support industries such as hotels, restaurants, beach bars, food and liquor provisioners, and transportation. In addition, it is a ready reference of general information for visiting sailors, giving information on Customs and Immigration entry requirements, visas, fishing licences and more.
